The Events team have had a great response to our weekend away in Avenel. We have filled all double rooms, but still have 1 rooms available with twin beds (two singles) so room for one more couple or you can bunk with a mate or one person could take the room to yourself but the price remains the same. ($150 per night per room)

We are having a weekend away for two nights at the quirky B&B accommodation Rusty Springs, the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday at Avenel in country Victoria.

It will be a two-night, weekend getaway for members who are up for some adventure and fun.

Proposed activities for the weekend include:

Friday:

• Welcome Dinner & Drinks
• Entertainment- Board games and pool table for evening fun

Saturday:

• 45 minute drive to MOVE - Kialla
• Afternoon nibbles and drinks back at Rusty Springs
• Western Barbecue Cookout 

Sunday:

• Avenel Market
• Tahbilk Winery Cellar Door and Eco Walk & Wetlands (Picnic or lunch at winery)

The cost of accommodation for two for two nights in an ensuite room will be $300.($60.00 deposit by 15 February with the balance due by 15 March 2026)

All activities including Museum, food, winery and personal expenses will be at participants own expense.

There will be a $16 charge for the MOVE Museum

A 20% deposit will be needed to confirm your place for the weekend.
