🚂 Wednesday 22nd April ~ Newport Railway Museum

Join us for a private tour of the Newport Railway Museum 

Step back in time to discover over 150 years of Victoria's rich rail history! The Newport Railway Museum boasts the state's largest collection of steam locomotives, including the iconic "Heavy Harry"-the largest locomotive ever built in Australia. Explore a vast range of diesel and electric suburban carriages, country passenger cars, and beautifully preserved interiors featuring elegant Art Deco designs. 

Itinerary & Details:

• 9:15 am: Depart from the Clubrooms.
• 10:00 am: Brief stop at McDonald's (7 Eleven Western Ring Road, Inbound) for those meeting us en route.
• 10:30 am: Private Tour begins at the Museum.
• 12:30 pm: Lunch at the Spotswood Hotel (62 Hudsons Rd, Spotswood).

Members are welcome to make their own way the Museum in the morning but MUST be there by 10:30am

Cost:

Admission prices are $10 for Adults and $5 for Concession.

RSVP has been extended - Space is strictly limited with only 13 places left, so please RSVP early!

Our Midweek Run is held on the 4th Wednesday of every month.

Members enjoy a day cruising to local attractions, stopping for morning tea and then visiting unique venues with plenty of variety for everyone. Lunch is usually at one of the local cafes, wineries or pubs or sometime a picnic in the park.
