Dowel Museum - Upper Beaconsfield
We will be going on a club run to visit The Dowel Museum in Upper Beaconsfield on Sunday 22nd March 2026
Previously known as the Trydel Museum, the collection is noted as being world-class, ranging from a replica of the 1887 Motor Wagon, through to Australia's first and only 1948 Tucker, amidst numerous unique cars is also a Peter Brock Collection.
This is a unique opportunity to view one of the best collections of cars in the state.
Details of meeting point and route will be advised closer to the event, cost of entry is $15 per person with proceeds going to charities run by Terry's family. The museum can be reached in about 1.5hrs from Gisborne (may include tolls).
Members can also enjoy lunch at a nearby pub, if you would like to view this awesome collection of cars and enjoy a great day contact us. This is one not to be missed.
