April Midweek Run – Chin Chin Farm

Wednesday 24th April

9:30am departure

This month’s run will be to Chin Chin Farm followed by lunch

at The Lost Watering Hole ~ Lancefield

We will be leaving our clubrooms at 9:30am and travelling through Riddells Creek, Bolinda, and Monegeetta.
arriving around 10:00am

The family that owns the farm, are working on a diverse range of planting. Originally, they were concentrating on planting Lavender. They have now decided to grow Australian Native flowers as well. There is also a small flock of sheep and one Alpaca living on the farm which consists of 158 acres in the Chintin farming area.

Stewart, will demonstrate the distillation process that they use to make their oils and essences etc.
The farm is also producing its own honey, some of which is flavoured by the flowers on the farm.  Oils, essences and spray applicators of their products and other hand made products are available for purchase at the farm shop.
Sonya will treat us all to a beautiful free morning Tea, all baked using their products made on the farm. https://www.chinchinfarm.com.au/

IMPORTANT
There is approximately 2 km of unmade all weather road leading to the property, so if you would prefer to bring

your every-day drive car and leave the classic at home for this run I will understand.

Sonya said she would love to see all our cars but I thought I should warn about the road surface.

Also the walking terrain up their driveway is a little challenging as it is up a hill and some of it is quite uneven,

about 100 – 150 metres

If you requite a walking stick or frame, this may not be the run for you to attend, however if you would like to go

straight to the Lost Watering Hole in Lancefield https://lostwateringhole.com/

I have booked us in there for a 12.30 lunch.( We would be very happy to see some friendly faces waiting for us up there.)

Can all those wanting to join us on this run, please let me know for the morning tea and also about lunch, on my email [email protected] on or before Sunday 21 April

Hoping to see a great turn up for this run, our next Mid Week Run will be the Biggest Morning Tea at the clubrooms.

Kind Regards,
Pam Amezdroz

Our Midweek Run is held on the 4th Wednesday of every month.

Members enjoy a day cruising to local attractions, stopping for morning tea and then visiting unique venues with plenty of variety for everyone. Lunch is usually at one of the local cafes, wineries or pubs or sometime a picnic in the park.

Everyone is welcome to come and join in on these fun monthly day trips.
