Picnic at Hanging Rock

For over 39 years, the club has proudly organized the Annual Picnic at Hanging Rock Car Show. Originally held as a simple gathering for club members and friends from other clubs to enjoy a picnic in the park, it has grown into one of Victoria's largest one-day motoring exhibitions, attracting over 2,000 vehicles and spectators to the stunning Hanging Rock Reserve near Woodend in the Macedon Ranges.

This event welcomes display vehicles of all makes, models, marques, and styles. The only requirements are that the vehicles must be drivable to the event and clearly cherished by their owners. Expect to see a Mercedes parked beside a Mini, a Bentley next to a Beetle, Jaguars of all varieties, the Toyota team, Rolls-Royces, a DeLorean alongside a Datsun, an Austin 7 next to an Alfa Romeo - and much more. In addition, the show features stationary engines, commercial vehicles, a vibrant display of two-wheeled classics, vendor stalls, sponsor displays, and entertainment for attendees of all ages.

A Note on Gate Sales

We've heard your feedback. While pre-paid tickets remain the fastest way to enter, trials from this year went well and we will be selling tickets with tap and go eft payments only.........BUT Please be aware that choosing this option may result in longer queues and is TOTALLY dependent on internet connectivity at the gate. However, to avoid queues and potential "no-signal" headaches, pre-booking is still your best bet!

A quick tip: Please spread the word to your mates to buy tickets before they arrive.
