What do you get when you mix twenty car enthusiasts, an arsenal of stories and Ted manning the kitchen? Another memorable lunch at the car club, that's what!
The clubhouse was buzzing with chatter and the unmistakable aroma of chicken casserole, as members gathered to swap tales about their beloved rides (and maybe show off a new polish or two). The conversation cruised from Fords to Jaguars, with everyone talking about torque and horsepower and the age-old debate: chrome or plastic? As tongues wagged outside, Ted was busy inside preparing the food with some enthusiastic helpers and entertaining us with tales.
Between bites of perfect chicken casserole, vegetables and mashed potatoes followed by Arnna's Scones and Graham's doughnuts, we toasted to good company, good cars and … most importantly … Ted's legendary cooking skills. Here's a big thank you, Ted, for keeping both our plates and our spirits full.
Until next time, keep your motors running, your stories spinning and your appetites ready for another round of Cars and Chatter!
Thanks to Frank Z for this wonderful account of the day.
