The April Midweek Run – we will meet at Bourkies Bakehouse in Woodend, and be ready to depart for Dunolly at 8:45am.
We are allowing some time for roadwork, just in case we encounter any. Rodger Payne is our Road Captain on this run, so he will lead the group.
10:15am – 10:30am – We will have morning tea at Ned’s Shed at 134 Broadway, Dunolly
11.00am – 1:00pm – We will visit the Court House/Town Hall, Museum (gold coin donation entry) and street shops
1:00pm – will be lunch at Ned’s ( if the weather is wet, possibly change venue to the Golf Club approx $10 per head
Ned’s Shed is at 134 Broadway, Dunolly, Nick Naks and Gallery at 116 Broadway (is Mal and Thea’s business.)
Members will remember Mal and Thea Hillier as the couple who ran the raffles at all of our meetings before Yvette started that job.
The Museum is at 75 Broadway and the Dunolly Court House is on the corner of Market and Bull Streets, about 2 blocks away from Broadway.
There will be volunteers opening the buildings for us so it is important to try to keep to our times.
For catering purposes, please let me know if you are planing to come along, before Monday 24th April, on [email protected]
I hope to see a lot of members come along to this run, as we have not been to Dunolly as far back as I can remember, possibly we did when John was running the events.
