Members Casual Picnic – Lancefield

Wednesday 22nd January from abt 10:00am

I hope you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year celebration with your family and friends.
I would like to invite all club members to come along to the first Mid Week Run for the year.

We will start the year off with a very casual picnic on the plantation High Street in Lancefield

on Wednesday 22 of January from about 10.00am.

You can either bring along some food and drinks for Morning Tea and Lunch or purchase what you require in High St.

The Lancefield Bakery is close by and The Aspy Cafe, also serves suitable food, particularly Vegetarian and vegan food and good coffee.

We will set up on the plantation opposite the Lancefield Hardware store (Thrifty Link ) at Number 3 High St
There is plenty of shade if the weather is hot and also there is a gazebo if it is rainy.

Since this run is our closest to Australia Day I will be providing an Australian theme for the day.

So if anyone attending would like to bring some good old Ozzie standards to share, please feel free to do so.

( Purchased or home made). Lamingtons, Vegemite sandwiches, Fairy bread, Pumpkin scones or Anzac Biscuits etc.

Also please bring a folding chair, and table if you require it.
Sunscreen and or a hat for protection and extra water if the day is forecast to be extremely hot.

Since I do not have to make bookings this time it is not necessary to let me know you are coming, just come along on the day.

Some years we only get about 12 people, sometimes we get about 20 but we always have a lot of fun catching up on what everyone has been up to over the holiday break.
