On a beautiful Sunday morning, we gathered at the Kalkallo BP and set off north on the highway for a delightful 60-minute journey to Fowles Winery. Our group of 15 members arrived in seven cars, all eager to experience the charm of this stunning location. Those who missed this gathering truly missed out on an exceptional meal, complemented by fabulous service that made us feel right at home. The ambiance of the winery, with its picturesque surroundings and rustic elegance, greatly enhanced our experience. After lunch, members strolled through the gardens and grounds of the winery before saying our goodbyes and heading home after a wonderful day out.
If you find yourself traveling along the Hume Highway, I highly recommend stopping at Fowles Winery. They welcome visitors daily, offering a tempting breakfast from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a lovely lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For those looking to cap off the week, dinner is available on Friday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss! https://www.fowleswine.com/restaurant/
